Blueprints are a critical part of any house. They make sure the weight of the ridge board of the roof is transferred through the house walls, through the floor structure and lands on a support pillar or pier below. Sometime a miscalculation in drawing or a missed measurement by the building crew can result in a pier that is not quite in the correct place.
